Description:
Explore portrait drawing basics through working with casts and photographs to improve your drawing of anatomical features. Get hands-on with casts and photographs as you nail down head layout and facial feature placement. Use light logic to bring surface forms to life through a mix of lectures, demo drawings, and plenty of drawing time in class. Experiment with graphite and charcoal on different types of paper, to create three take home projects.
